Ouroboros is an intimate festival set on a hilltop in the Cantal region of France, created by a group of several collectives of musical and visual artists sharing the same vision. A common desire to develop a musical scene with percussive soundscapes and an immersive sensory universe.
I joined the project during the festival’s second edition, developing the lighting and laser scenography for the site. I have since returned each year, together with EWO collective, building on our visual and laser journey, rather than repeating it. The work responds closely to the landscape, the scale of the gathering, and the shifting energy of the programme, with elements adapted and reconfigured throughout the weekend.
Over time, the project has grown in both technical complexity and ambition, while maintaining the intimacy that defines the festival. Ouroboros is an ongoing collaboration that reflects my approach to long-term, site-responsive work, building on trust, refining ideas over time, and allowing space for experimentation.
