Powell – We Do Recover (Live AV)

To mark the release of We Do Recover, Powell presented an expanded live audiovisual show continuing his ongoing collaboration with Swiss filmmaker Michael Amstad and Norwegian visual artist Marte Eknæs, alongside myself on lasers. The work builds on a long-running visual and sonic dialogue, bringing together sound, film, and light within a single live performance.

Premiered at ICA London in October 2025, We Do Recover is Powell’s first full album on Diagonal Records and the live show reflects the emotional and thematic ground of the record. Triggered by experiences of grief and addiction, the performance explores recovery and reassurance through a tightly composed audiovisual language, expanding Powell’s distinctive approach to synthesised sound.
